Johnsons Coaches has been a trusted name in coach travel since 1909 and John Hatch, Head of Engineering at the company was drawn to CogLock’s “simple and highly effective design” after spotting an article in the SOE newsletter.
He said: “My first impression was that CogLock offered an innovative and intelligent approach to wheel security – both simple and highly effective.”
Initial feedback has been positive after CogLocks were fitted to the first coach earlier this month, with more being added to the fleet over the coming months.
John adds: “Wheel security is crucial to Johnsons Coaches as it directly impacts passenger safety, vehicle reliability and the company’s reputation.
“By prioritising wheel security, we not only meet regulatory requirements but also reinforce our commitment to delivering safe, professional and dependable coach travel. Maintaining the highest safety standards remains a top priority.”
Over the past century Johnsons Coaches have grown from a single vehicle to a fleet of over 55 coaches serving a diverse range of customers across the UK.
